Discover Cloud Networks
1. On-board Cloud Accounts
On-boarding a Cloud refers to the association of a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Account with the Prosimo platform. Prosimo orchestrates the cloud providers network resources and hence must communicate with the providers APIs. Associating an account facilitates the necessary cloud management communication required to build multi-cloud, multi-platform networks in minutes.
2. Discover Networks
With Cloud On-boarding and the Deployment of a Network Edge complete, Prosimo is able to discover all networks associated with the on-boarded cloud accounts.
3. Deploy Prosimo Edges
Prosimo Edge’s perform the orchestration of cloud native networking resources. A Prosimo Edge is deployed per-region and manages all VPC/Vnet network resource management for its cloud region deployment. Unlike with overlay network architecture, virtual devices do not need to be deployed per-VPC or per-platform.
4. On-board Cloud Networks
With Cloud On-boarding and the Deployment of a Network Edge complete, Prosimo is able to on-board networks associated with the on-boarded cloud accounts.
Prosimo’s discovery-led architecture seamlessly onboards networks for building connectivity between VPCs and VNets across regions and clouds. On-boarding is performed via a simple click-through process, whereby the Prosimo platform discovers the VPC/Vnet that you want to onboard to the Prosimo fabric.
