Technical Support Engineer, Bangalore, India

Prosimo is looking for a Technical Support Engineer for their Bangalore, India location. 


  • Act as the first point of contact in troubleshooting customer support requests, coordinating and prioritizing timely resolutions with engineering and solution architecture teams
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise to customers in solving product related problems and questions
  • Track customer reported bugs and enhancements. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
  • Create and contribute to knowledge contents such as troubleshooting articles, how-tos and best practices
  • Provide after hour support to customers as assigned


  • Deep technical expertise and hands-on technical skills in troubleshooting networking and security products
  • Strong working experience with technologies deployed on public clouds like AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are quintessential
  • Customer-first mindset in solving reported issues in a timely manner as well as accurately
  • Experience with Python, shell scripting, automation, Terraform and CD pipelines
  • Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, Xen
  • Familiarity with virtualization and/or storage and network management
  • Deployment and professional services experience is a plus

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of relevant technical support / escalation experience
