Prosimo is looking for a Technical Support Engineer for their Bangalore, India location.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact in troubleshooting customer support requests, coordinating and prioritizing timely resolutions with engineering and solution architecture teams
- Provide hands-on technical expertise to customers in solving product related problems and questions
- Track customer reported bugs and enhancements. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
- Create and contribute to knowledge contents such as troubleshooting articles, how-tos and best practices
- Provide after hour support to customers as assigned
Requirements:
- Deep technical expertise and hands-on technical skills in troubleshooting networking and security products
- Strong working experience with technologies deployed on public clouds like AWS, Azure and GCP
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are quintessential
- Customer-first mindset in solving reported issues in a timely manner as well as accurately
- Experience with Python, shell scripting, automation, Terraform and CD pipelines
- Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, Xen
- Familiarity with virtualization and/or storage and network management
- Deployment and professional services experience is a plus
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant technical support / escalation experience
